Gordon Hall or 戈登堂 [Gedeng tang] was originally on Victoria Road in the former British Concession (1860-1943), now 解放北路 (Jiefang beilu) in the district 和平 (Heping). Gordon Hall was known by several names: 天津英租界工部局大楼 [Tianjin ying zujie GongBu ju dalou] until the end of the British concession in 1943, or 戈登堂 [Gedeng tang], a name still in use today.

Built in 1927, the bridge 解放桥 [Jiefang qiao] also called 万国桥 [Wangguoqiao], or 法国桥 [Faguoqiao] because it started from the French concession (1860-1946) spans the 海河 [Haihe]. Today it connects the districts 和平 [Heping] and 河北 [Hebei].

Behind the bridge you can guess 武备学堂 [Wu bei xuetang], a military school destroyed at the end of the Qing dynasty in 1900. This school was located in the area where a factory now stands, 天津第一热电厂 [Tianjin diyi redianchang] in the district 河东 [Hedong].

In the former Russian Concession (1900-1920) in the present district 河东 [Hedong]. The Church of our Saviour was built on the east bank of the Baihe (Pei-ho) River, Tientsin (Tianjin) in 1907, in memory of the 108 Russian soldiers who perished in the Boxer Uprising. From 1922-1925, the church was expanded and rebuilt as the Church of the Holy Protection.

Called 李鸿章祠堂 [Li Hongzhang citang] or 李鸿章庙 [Li Hongzhang miao]. It no longer exists. It was located at the place of the current Tianjin 57th Secondary School 天津市第五十七中学校 [Tianjinshi diwushiqi zhongxuexiao], on Tianwei Road 天纬路 [Tianwei lu], in the current district 河北 [Hebei].
